Depart for a group-basis rafting tour at Petrohue River. Begin at the base in Ensenada, where your guides will provide equipment and instructions for the river along with a safety talk. Head towards the Petrohué River, where the guides will divide the groups and give the final instructions before you get into the rafts and begin a 50 minute descent with class three rapids. End in the Cable sector, where you can change your clothes and enjoy a snack before heading back to the hotel.

Fly fishing in different rivers in the area. The Petrohué River is closest to the hotel and is ideal for trout and salmon (Chinook in March and April) fishing. Ride the river aboard a fishing boat with your guide. River fishing consists of two half-day sessions with a break to enjoy a boxed lunch on the riverbank with unique views of the mountains and the forest.

Morning departure by private transportation to Los Glaciares National Park—a scenic drive of approximately one hour. En route, you may see guanacos (cinnamon-colored camelids), foxes, hawks, eagles, condors, and flamingos. Reaching the Corner of Sighs, you will get your first full view of Perito Moreno Glacier. The glacier itself is over 18 miles long, reaching sheer heights of more than 200 feet. After reaching the trailhead, explore the walkways that overlook the glacier and Lake Argentino. Afterwards, take time with your private guide to view the glacier from the network of walkways and viewpoints on the Magellan Peninsula.
Afterwards, continue by private transportation to the port of Bajo las Sombras to begin a group-basis mini-trekking tour on the glacier. Upon arrival, board the tour boat and cross the Brazo Rico branch of Lago Argentino, passing icebergs that have calved from the front of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Reaching the opposite lakeshore, disembark for safety training with your group’s guide. You will then hike approximately 25 minutes to the glacier, where you will be fitted for crampons. Next, begin your guided hike on the glacier’s face (approximately 90 minutes). During the hike, you may be able to observe lagoons, fractures, and other glacier features.
